On May 30, 2024, the unveiling ceremony of Thailand Luban Workshop (Banphai Industrial and Community Education College) jointly built by our college, Thai Banphai Industrial and Community Education College (BPIC) and the Fourth Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway 11th Bureau Group was successfully held in Banphai County, Khon Kaen Province, Thailand. Ong-at Chatchaiphonrat, member of the House of Representatives of Khon Kaen of Thailand, Peng Kaiqin,Vice President of our college, Junyar Pabu, Consultant of BPIC, Harjunde Miudun, BPIC Vice President, Varaya Tangga Ongkhun, BPIC Vice President, Liao Dejun, General Manager of China Railway 11th Bureau Group (Thailand) Co., LTD. And Ke Jin, China-Thai Railway Project Manager of the Fourth Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway 11th Bureau Group and other related people attended the ceremony.
Harjund Miudun, BPIC Vice President of Thailand, delivered a welcoming speech. He said that Thailand's Banphai Industrial and Community Education College, as a leading Thai railway professional school approved by the Vocational Education Commission of the Ministry of Education of Thailand, cooperated with Chinese railway colleges and universities, and both Chinese and Thai colleges and enterprises worked together to achieve fruitful upshots. He was very proud and confident of the construction of a good workshop.
Peng Kaiqin, Vice President of our college, said in his speech that in the past ten years, the universities and colleges of China and Thailand have worked together to cultivate a batch of high-speed rail technical talents. In 2019, Chinese and Thai universities and enterprises jointly established Luban High-speed Rail Institute in Thailand, building a new platform for training Thailand's localized high speed rail technical talents. In December 2023, Luban High-speed Rail Institute passed the acceptance and built the Thai Luban Workshop (Banphai Industrial and Community Education College), which became one of the 33 Luban Workshop operating projects globally. In the next step, the school will take the workshop as a platform to deepen China-Thailand vocational education cooperation, rely on China's high-speed railway "going out", and better serve the construction of China-Thailand Railway and the development of Thailand's rail transit.
Liao Dejun, General Manager of China Railway 11th Bureau Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd. expressed warm congratulations on the unveiling of the workshop. He said that the first phase of the China-Thailand railway project is about to be completed, and the operation of the China-Thailand Railway needs a large number of high-speed rail technical workers. As an enterprise participating in the construction of the workshop, the company will strengthen the cooperation with the colleges and universities of China and Thailand, do a good job in connecting supply and demand, and cultivate technical skills talents that meet the needs of enterprises. To celebrate the unveiling of the workshop, General Manager Liao Dejun donated 2 sets of engineering equipment models for the workshop.
Ong-at Chatchaiphonrat, Member of the House of Representatives of Khon Kaen of Thailand, extended heartfelt congratulations on the completion of the second Luban Workshop in Khon Kaen, and expressed sincere gratitude to the school for its unremitting efforts and outstanding contributions to the training of high-speed rail technical talents for Khon Kaen in the past ten years of China-Thailand vocational education cooperation.

After the ceremony, the delegates had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the next step of construction and development of the workshop. Representatives from Ayutthaya Secondary School Education Bureau, Banphai High School and other units participated in the discussion, and signed memorandums of cooperation with our college.
