On the afternoon of September 18th, a discussion meeting regarding the joint training program for high-speed railway talent cultivation between China and Thailand was held at our college. Dr. Junyar Pabu, Advisor to Banphai Industrial and Community Education College; Vice President of our college, Mr. Peng Kaiqin; Dean of the School of International Education, Mr. Fu Xiang; and Associate Dean of the School of International Education, Ms. Sheng Wei, attended the meeting.
Vice President Peng Kaiqin first warmly welcomed Dr. Junyar Pabu to our college. He reviewed the fruitful achievements of our college and Banphai Industrial and Community Education College in carrying out the joint training program for high-speed railway talent cultivation between China and Thailand, and provided an introduction to further promote cooperation with 12 Thai colleges offering railway programs. Dr. Junyar Pabu expressed his strong desire to strengthen cooperation with our college, provided information on policies for collaborating with Chinese colleges to train international students and the source of Thai students studying railway specialties. He also offered constructive suggestions for further advancing the joint training program for high-speed railway talent cultivation between China and Thailand and expressed expectations for mutual on-site exchanges and visits.
During the discussion, both sides also explored the "Study in Hubei" program and the "1+3" cooperative education model for undergraduate degrees. After the meeting, President Peng led Advisor Dr. Junyar Pabu on a campus tour. The college's rich railway culture atmosphere continued to impress Dr. Junyar Pabu, who has visited the college multiple times.
