China-Russia Vocational Education Exchange Webinar was held by WRC and Far Eastern State Transport University of Russia on the afternoon of August 12. The webinar was facilitated by Tang Chinese Education. Xia Dong, director of Academic Affairs Office, Xu Xun’an, dean of School of Railway Transportation and Management, Tao Lin, director of Foreign Affairs Office, Sheng Wei, vice director and relevant teachers were present at the meeting. The webinar was attended by Ganus Andrey Nikolaevich, acting president of Far Eastern State Transport University, Gafiatulina Elena Sauganovna, vice president, deans and directors of relevant schools and departments, and Li Jinsong, CEO of Tang Chinese Education and chaired by Zhao Huibo, director of overseas operation of Tang Chinese Education.
Li Jinsong, CEO of Tang Chinese Education, delivered a welcome speech and introduced the background and education concept of the company. He expressed the wish to promote the cooperation between the two colleges and build a model project of China-Russia vocational education cooperation in railway programs.
Ganus Andrey Nikolaevich, acting president of Far Eastern State Transport University, gave an introduction to the college’s history and features and expressed interest of carrying out double diploma cooperation in railway transport programs. He hoped the details of cooperation could be further discussed.
Tao Lin, director of Foreign Affairs Office, extended sincere greetings to all leaders and representatives present at the webinar and briefly introduced the school-managing features, programs and international cooperation and exchange of WRC. He expected that the Chinese and Russian colleges could develop a greater understanding of each other, explore a cooperation mode of railway talents cultivation and carry out cooperation in program matching and teacher and student exchanges based on the friendly talk at the webinar.
Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth discussions on specific issues including admission requirements, training arrangements, curriculum and graduation requirements.
