On June 21st, our college, as one of the first representatives of higher vocational colleges, participated in the TVET B2B Online Connect of China Education Expo 2021.The online expo adopts two forms of virtual booth with English display and live-streaming exchange. The participating institutions displayed their advantages, featured programs and international education achievements in English introduction, English brochure and English promotional video on the cloud exhibition platform, and conducted cooperation and communication with domestic and foreign institutions via live streaming.

From 16:00 to 17:30 p.m., Ms. Sheng Wei, Deputy Director of WRC Foreign Affairs Office, and Ms. Qiu Jin, introduced the characteristics of our school, the achievements of vocational education and the international exchange and cooperation projects in English live streaming. In combination with the live streaming, a short video elaborately shot by Foreign Affairs Office was played, showcasing the high-level EMU Overhaul Training Base, High-speed Railway Line Comprehensive Training Base, and WRC Railway Culture Museum. The fully prepared exhibition and live streaming attracted many foreign representatives, who repeatedly raised inquiries in the interactive session, and paid great heed to the fruits of WRC international exchanges and cooperation. Representatives from the Spanish Association of Vocational Training Centers (FPEMPRESA) and over 30 teachers and students of railway programs from Thailand Banphai Industrial and Community Education College watched the live streaming and had in-depth communication with the two anchors.

To build a zero-distance communication platform through the live streaming and exchange in English is another innovative move of college to actively expand high-quality international cooperation resources and expand WRCs popularity and reputation.

China Education Expo 2021 Virtual Event was hosted by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) on June 17-22, 2021, including three events, namely, Students Recruitment Fair, Higher Education B2B Online Connect and TVET B2B Online Connect, a total of 53 countries and regions, nearly 600 Chinese and foreign colleges and universities and educational institutions, gathered on the online platform for new international education in the future.
