WRC Won the Gold Prize of WFCP 2020 Awards of Excellence

The award ceremony of World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnic (WFCP) 2020 Awards of Excellence was webcast globally at 1:40 pm of November 27, Beijing time. Mr. Craig Robertson, Chair of WFCP, hosted the ceremony and announced the winners.

 WRC won the gold prize of WFCP 2020 Awards of Excellence in the category of Leadership Development, the third consecutive time of winning the award after the Bronze prize in the category of Access to Learning and Employment in 2016 and the silver prize in the category of Higher Technical Skills in 2018. WRC has made a leapfrog progress from Bronze, Silver to Gold prize of WFCP Awards of Excellence in different categories.



WRC has won WFCP Awards of Excellence for three times in a row, which demonstrates that our years of hard work in such areas as students’ Access to Learning and Employment, Higher Technical Skills, Leadership Development has been recognized by the world. WRC has made her own contribution to pushing China’s higher vocational education on the world stage.


The global parallel award ceremony was held in China branch venue Nanjing the same day. Madame Shen Xuesong, Deputy Chair of  WFCP and Deputy Secretary General of CEAIE, presented prize to our college. Tao Lin, Director of Foreign Affairs Office and Sheng Wei, Deputy Director attended the ceremony. Director Tao Lin delivered an acceptance speech and introduced the awarded program.

 WFCP Awards of Excellence was set up in 2014 and presented every two years. Eight categories, namely, Applied Research and Innovation, Access to Learning and Employment, Student Support Services, Higher Technical Skills, Sustainable Development, Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship and Partnership with Industry were included in 2020, each with gold, silver and bronze prize. A total of 29 colleges, institutions and individuals from 8 countries were honored at the ceremony, among which 14 colleges came from China.
