China-Ireland Vocational Education Exchange Meeting was held on 20th November. Mr. James Cyril, Institute of Technology, Tralee, Ms. Xue Xinlan and Ms. Xiong Mengzhen, Manager of Chinese projects attended the meeting. Other attendees from our college were Mr. Cheng Chong, Dean of School of Machinery and Electronics, Mr. Li Bin, Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management, Ms. Lei Xiang, PhD of Medical and Nursing School, Ms. Liu Li, Director of Foreign Affairs Division and Ms. Sheng Wei, Vice Director of Foreign Affairs Division.
Ms. Liu Li extended warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the international cooperation and exchange of WRC. Mr. James Cyril expressed sincere thanks to WRC and introduced programs and features of Institute of Technology, Tralee. He hoped more in-depth exchanges of related programs could be carried out in coming days through the exchange meeting. Then Mr. Cheng Chong, Dean of School of Machinery and Electronics, Mr. Li Bin, Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management and Ms. Lei Xiang, PhD of Medical and Nursing School also gave an introduction of their respective schools.
Both parties reached a preliminary agreement on further international exchange and cooperation mode after free communication and discussion.
After the meeting, Mr. James Cyril, Institute of Technology, Tralee, held an information session on top-up joint training project of Sino-Ireland vocational education for WRC students. Students of the relevant schools at WRC actively attended and addressed the session.
Founded in 1977, Institute of Technology, Tralee, serves as a public institute of technology. The college has been accredited by the Ministry of education of China, offering a series of academic courses and awarding Bachelor's, master's and doctor's degrees.
